Everyday Flawless Look

Hi my darlings,

It has been a while since I have wrote anything. I have been a bit busy with Uni and projects, but I have made some time to tell you all about some AMAZING drug store products I came across/I have been using for a while and I just LOVE them.

All of us want a quick flawless look that you can wear during the day but during the evening/night too. Today’s post is all about that. Flawless look in 30 minutes, perfect for school, office or classy evening wear.

Enough with the chit-chat..Let’s get to work 😀

For primer and foundation I have used GOSH anti-ageing primer and GOSH foundation drops, that I have reviewed in my last post. They are just FAB.

20151202_180441The next step was the concealer from MUA – HIDE & conceal at just £1 (what?! yeah that’s right) under my eye till half my cheek bone, on my T-zone and in-between my jaw line and cheek bone. It is pretty easy to apply and blends really well; you can either use it just like that (as a stick) or use a concealer brush for it (your choice). Do not blend yet into your skin 😀

We are going to move now to contouring from ELF (cream blush&bronzer) at just £4 and highlighting from BENEFIT- What’s up! at £22 (apparently is the same highlighter that Kim Kardashian is using 😀

I have applied, with a foundation brush, exactly under my cheek bone and around my temple..also to sculpt my nose and jaw line. From the same kit I have used the cream blush on my cheek bone. It is quite creamy and easy to apply. A good product for just £4.

The last but not least, the highlighter above the blush line and on my T-zone. Although it is a bit pricy comparing to the other drugstore products, it is all worth it because you get a lot of product that is going to last you forever, so in the end it is a very good investment. Plus it looks AMAZING on the skin..it gives you such a glow; not in a shimmery way but in a very natural one.20151202_180355

Now it is time to blend everything with a beauty sponge (I have mine from Real Techniques). If after we are done you still believe you want a bit more contour to your cheek bones take an angled brush and some powder bronzer and use a bit more under those cheeks, but blend afterwards with the beauty sponge for a flawless look.

For my eyes I have used MUA – baked eyeshadow at £3, Rimmel – Exaggerate smoke&shine at £2.5, Maybelline – Master precise at £4.99 and Rimmel – Glameyes Day 2 night at £7.99.

The eyeshadow is not the most amazing one to be honest but it does the job, especially if you make your brush a bit wet before putting it on the product (it is going to get more product and set it better on your eyelid).20151202_180217

The cooper pencil from Rimmel is a MUST have..one end is for the colour and the other to smudge in the product (very handy when you are on the go).I have used the pencil under my eye to make my eyes pop-up more.20151202_180819The Maybelline pencil/eyeliner is just a MUST MUST MUST. It is the easiest way to get the same look as with a liquid eyeliner (especially for beginners or shaky hands).

Sorry guys I haven’t posted a picture of the ‘final product’ but I was in a hurry to go out that I have totally forgot. Next time, I promise.

Lots of kisses till next time

Gigi xoxo
